Dealing with Stress

 

The key to minimizing stress is to keep focused on the things you can actually influence.

Unless you can snap your fingers and make something happen, it is not under your direct control.

There are very few things that we control.

There are some things we can influence, but can't control.

There are many, many things, we simply don't consciously control.

A good way to think about things, is to put them into one of three "buckets", my business, your business, and the Universe's business...See the Minding Your Business link below for more info.

The following exercises can help you gain control of your approach to stressful situations such that you maintain a positive, productive, creative frame of mind that is actually helpful to you instead of detrimental.

Minding Your Business (apply this if you are stressed, upset, not effective)

Stress Analysis (do this if you are stressed about something)
