It is by Susan Jeffers, Ph.D., and is worth a read any time you are stressed in any way!

Your Mission:
To understand that every event that comes into your life is a *perfect* reflection of your thoughts and state of being, such that you can treat it is a *perfect* learning opportunity, designed perfectly for YOU.
What does this mean in practice?
* You get past the why me, it’s all their fault, this sucks, etc.
* You ask yourself, what can I learn about me in this situation?
* You ask yourself, how might I typically/unconsciously react to situations like this? How could I respond differently?
* You ask yourself, where are my opportunities to love in this situation?
* You ask yourself, where are my opportunities to love myself in this situation?
The result? You stop wasting time and experiencing the same events over and over in different clothing, and start accelerating your growth and learning. You also reduce your suffering, increase your joy, and increase your contribution to the world around you.
Should you choose to accept!

OK, so, it can end up being a little self-defeating to always be “working on yourself.”
There really is nothing wrong with you, you are perfect just the way you are! A constant quest for self-development and/or enlightenment can actually get in the way of your growth.
So, if you are feeling a bit “stuck” why not try one of these backdoor methods? I’ll expand more about why these methods work on my www.CoachMichele.com blog.
All you really need to know is intending to improve these areas of your life will bring a lot of systems into alignment such that in addition to creating something positive in your life, you’ll also be coming to greater holistic health and development as a human being.
- Strive for a very high level of physical fitness
- Learn to be at absolute peace around your family, immediate and extended
- Rid yourself of your “small” addictions (using food, shopping, entertainment, etc. to modify your mood)
- Truly organize your physical environment
- Double your level of intimacy with your partner
Choosing just one of those items, and making it a focus in your life, will bring lasting benefits to all areas of your life!
Happy Transforming!

I learned of a very practical, yet high level, personal success and leadership workshop. It includes excellent career exploration aspects.
You can take it in a self-directed fashion, or, you can conduct the workshop for others.
It was originally designed, by Robert White of www.pslinstitute.com, for teens…However it can be great for adults as well!
A super resource…

More and more, people are coming to realize that food is taking the role of an addictive substance in their life.
It can be a real challenge, since, we do need to eat, and it does have such an immediate impact on our bodies, brains and, often, emotions.
I found a great article on CNN on food addiction…

When we are growing and changing, we find ourselves face to face with beliefs that just are not working in our lives anymore- or perhaps even some that never worked and even held us a back. As we become willing to release those beliefs, we have the terrific opportunity to layer in some new positive beliefs that really make our lives flow with ease, accomplishment, and meaning.
So often when we talk about beliefs… we talk about releasing limiting beliefs which is vital work for self- growth, but today I want to talk about some positive beliefs that really can take us to whole new level in our lives. Here is my top ten list for today (tomorrow it could change slightly):
I make a difference.
I have the help I need.
People are good.
People are helpful.
I am supported.
I have access to all of the tools I need.
Everything works out for me.
I am just fine exactly the way that I am right here in this moment.
Every time I take action steps to achieve my goals- I see a result that is positive in some way.
I persist and persevere.
Of course there are hundreds of positive beliefs, but this list is a good start. Ask yourself, what if I incorporated some of these today? What might happen?
Warmest,
Coach Sheri

Steve Jobs delivered this commencement address at Stanford, June 12, 2005. It is definitely worth a read and serious reflection.
“You’ve got to find what you love.”
I couldn’t agree more!
